walklog:
7-17 linley valley (cottle lake trail), 3.87 km, 1:52, 797m elevation gain. cottle creek still has water, though not visibly so in all places. found a small (unofficial) trail that goes around the west side of cottle lake. the brandnew development road through the wetland just south of linley rd comes out on canterbury; there is a gravel path towards the upper end that comes from the houses on the hilltop at the left and goes down on the right; want to check that out some time. |
